Are you looking for the latest iPads? On this page, you’ll find all the information about the most recent iPad, iPad mini, iPad Pro and iPad Air. You’ll also find the answer to the question: will Apple release new iPads in 2026?

The latest iPad

Five tablets in silver, yellow, pink, and blue are shown, one with a keyboard and a colorful screen.

The latest iPad

The latest iPad is the iPad (2025). This model has received quite an upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Apple iPad (2022). For example, the new generation iPad features the fast A16 chip. This means you can enjoy even better performance and features. You can multitask and take notes more easily but also edit 4K videos. You can even do this for a whole day without charging, because that’s exactly the battery life of this Apple tablet. It also has more storage capacity. Whereas the 2022 model only had 64 and 256 GB, the 11th generation iPad has 2 new variants: 128 and 512 GB. There are also familiar features to be found on the new iPad. The beautiful 11-inch Liquid Retina display and the 12-megapixel wide-angle camera are present so you can see and be seen clearly. The colours are also the same and you can connect it via the USB-C port to the well-known Apple keyboard: the Magic Keyboard. In many ways, the iPad is increasingly resembling the Air, but there are still important differences between the iPad and the iPad Air.

The latest iPad Air

Five tablets are lined up, angling towards the right, showcasing a blue screen on the first and various colors on the others.

In 2026, Apple introduced the new iPad Air M4. The biggest change is mainly the new M4 chipset. This gives you powerful performance and access to the latest Apple Intelligence features. The memory has also been increased to 12 GB. Combined with the M4 chip, this gives you even more room for multitasking, gaming, streaming and creating your own content. As a result, this Air tablet offers the same features as the 2024 Pro model. The Apple iPad Air (2026) naturally comes with a sharp and smooth 11-inch or 13-inch Retina display, which is similar to the iPad Air (2025). It can also be used with the improved Magic Keyboard and various generations of the Apple Pencil. This makes the iPad Air (2026) suitable for students or professionals who are often on the move, for example. It’s no surprise that the iPad Air is often compared to the iPad Pro.

The latest iPad mini

The iPad mini is the smallest and most compact variant of all iPad models, and the latest is the iPad mini (2024). Do not underestimate the size (8.3 inches), because this 7th generation iPad mini has a faster processor than, for example, the iPad (2025), namely the A17 Pro chip. Thanks to its compact design, this tablet is ideal to take with you everywhere. Beat your Temple Run record during your daily train journey or read a new book while you wait for your flight. The iPad mini is also popular among (amateur) photographers, because you can capture razor-sharp photos and videos with it.

The latest iPad Pro

In 2015, the first-generation iPad Pro appeared, a tablet for, among others, professionals and graphic designers. The iPad Pro is now on its 7th generation. The latest iPad Pro (2025) has been available since 22 October 2025. This is the iPad with the most powerful and smartest processor with Apple’s best chip generation: M5. Whether you’re translating texts or want to create images: in combination with AI you carry out all tasks even faster. It also features the latest iPadOS with Liquid Glass design for a stylish look and convenient navigation through apps. You can also use an Apple fast charger to charge the tablet to 50% battery in 30 minutes. There are similarities with the previous generation iPad Pro. For example, there’s a powerful 12-megapixel camera in both the Ultra Retina XDR display and the housing for creating beautiful content, even in 4K resolution. In addition, this super tablet is available in the same stylish colours, screen sizes and large storage capacities as the iPad Pro (2024).

Our advice on choosing the latest iPad

There are 4 iPad models available. They all have their unique features, but also similarities. If you’re not yet familiar with Apple’s tablets, the ‘traditional’ iPad is a good device to start with due to its versatile specifications. The iPad mini is a very nice model if you travel a lot and do a lot of reading or basic tasks on the go. The iPad Air is a good upgrade from the mini variant if you also want to use it for your work or studies. But if you play a lot of games or do graphic design, then the iPad Pro is the best solution. Do you find it difficult to make the right choice? We’re of course happy to help you find the iPad that suits you.
